Our Story
Knowing Me was founded out of a realization from first-hand experience that families are often stretched thin, juggling the demands of coordinating, communicating and managing their child's care and their entire support team. I noticed how overwhelming and stressful it can be for parents to keep everything organized, communicate effectively with their support team, and ensure everyone is on the same page. That's when the idea for Knowing Me was born: a platform designed to take that burden off families by centralizing all the information in one accessible, easy-to-use space. We exist to make sure families and their support teams feel truly supported—giving them the peace of mind that everything is taken care of, and all the information they need is available anytime, anywhere.

This profile can then be shared with the entire support team to ensure that everyone is across all the same, up to date information and the person with disability can be supported best in their day to day life.

Start by searching for "Knowing Me" in the Apple app store or the Google Play store. Once the app is downloaded you can then proceed to download and sign up effortlessly!
Navigate to settings by clicking the icon in the top right corner of the screen, then click on "Add Admin User"

All information kept on the app is completely secure and private. Only users given permission to view client profiles are able to see the clients personal information.

Important Contacts are contacts that you can add on the Knowing Me app to chat call or communicate with. These contacts will not have access to any of your profile information.

Guardians can create and build a detailed profile for their dependant, outlining all their specific support requirements and detailing anything they need to communicate with their entire support team. This profile can then be shared with the entire team - service providers, support workers, allied health and medical professionals for seamless communication and peace of mind.
Guardian
Individuals can create their own personalised profile, detailing their specific support requirements and needs, enhancing their autonomy and independence. They are able to share it with their guardians and support team so they can be best supported in their day to day life.
Personal User
Whether you’re a service provider, support worker, allied health or medical professional, you can access and view (with permission from the profile admin) all your client’s key information to best support them and to communicate any information to them. You are unable to edit or share the profile with anyone else, ensuring the information remains secure and accurate.
